Before your first visit
All guests will be asked to review and accept a liability waiver before entering the thermal pool, sauna, steam room, or cold plunge, either online when you book or in person on arrival. By visiting Samsara BathHouse, you acknowledge that these practices carry inherent risk, and you assume that risk for yourself.
Who should check with a doctor first
Please talk to a healthcare provider before visiting if any of the following apply to you:
This list is a starting point, not a complete medical checklist. If you're unsure whether sauna, steam, or cold plunge is safe for you, ask your doctor first.
Please don't visit if
- You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- You have a fever, active infection, or open wounds.
- You are feeling seriously unwell.
While you're here
- Listen to your body. Step out of the sauna, steam room, or cold plunge at any point if you feel dizzy, nauseated, or unwell.
- Stay hydrated before, during, and after your visit.
- Our guides are on-site to help, but they are not medical professionals. In a medical emergency, staff will contact emergency services.
- Enter the cold plunge gradually if it's your first time. A guide can walk you through it.
Assumption of risk
Use of our facilities is voluntary. Samsara BathHouse, its owners, and staff are not liable for injury or illness arising from your use of the thermal pool, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, or hammam scrub service, except where such liability cannot be limited under California law.
